FOR ORGANIZATIONS AND TEAMS
Your Team Doesn’t Have a People Problem. You Have a Decision Problem.
A live 90-minute workshop that reveals how your team actually makes decisions, where the friction lives, and how to turn it into your competitive advantage.
The Real Reason Your Team Gets Stuck
You've invested in leadership training, personality profiles, and team-building retreats. But Monday morning still feels the same. Projects stall out. Meetings run in circles. The same people clash over the same kinds of issues, and everyone walks away quietly frustrated.
Here's what most organizations miss: your people aren't the problem. The way they process decisions is. Every person on your team is wired with a different internal decision-making style, and when those styles collide without a shared language for what's happening, friction is the natural result.
That tension costs you more than morale. It costs momentum, retention, and the quality of the decisions that drive your entire organization forward.
Every initiative gets bogged down in committee. What should take a day takes a week. Your most agile thinkers grow frustrated while your most cautious voices feel steamrolled. Nobody wins.
DECISIONS THAT DRAG
People aren't being difficult on purpose. They're operating from genuinely different decision-making frameworks and don't have the language to bridge the gap. Unaddressed, this creates resentment that silently erodes your culture.
INTERNAL FRICTION
When people feel consistently misunderstood in how they think and contribute, they disengage. The best ones leave. And the cost of replacing even one key team member far exceeds the cost of understanding them.
RETENTION RISK
Decisions happen too fast with too little input. Action-first leaders push things through before the rest of the team has processed the implications. Speed without alignment creates cleanup that's far more expensive than the time it would have taken to slow down.
CHAOTIC EXECUTION
The Workshop
Dr. Justin McNeil comes to you, live and in-person, with a visual presentation built around your team's actual results. This is a strategic experience that leaves your team with practical tools they'll use long after the session ends.
Your team will learn how the brain's three decision-making signals (Head, Heart, and Gut) work together and why understanding their order changes everything about how people lead, communicate, and collaborate.
The Decision Code Framework
Dr. McNeil creates a customized visual analysis of your team's collective decision-making profile. You'll see exactly where your team's natural tendencies cluster, where the gaps are, and what that means for how your group navigates pressure and opportunity.
Team Decision Map
Individual Decision-Making Style Assessment
Every team member takes the Decision Code Quiz ahead of the workshop to identify their personal decision-making style. There are six distinct profiles, and each one reveals unique strengths, blind spots, and patterns under stress.
Decision-Making Style Pairings & Strategy
Not all style combinations work the same way. This session breaks down how specific pairings on your team interact, where they naturally collaborate well, and where they'll need intentional communication strategies to avoid recurring conflict.
What This Actually Produces For Your Organization
-
When your team understands how each person processes information and makes decisions, meetings become shorter and more productive. Less time in the room, yet better output from the room.
-
Disagreement isn't the enemy. Misunderstanding is. When your team has shared language for their decision-making differences, healthy tension becomes a tool for stronger outcomes instead of a source of relational damage.
-
Knowing someone is a Head-first thinker versus a Heart-first processor changes how you deliver feedback, pitch ideas, and delegate work. The same message, delivered within the right framework, gets through the first time.
-
People stay where they feel known. When your team members see that their organization values not just what they do but how they think, it deepens loyalty and engagement in ways that surface-level perks never will.
-
The goal isn't just faster decisions. It's decisions your team can stand behind with less stress and more clarity. That kind of consistency compounds over time and shows up in your bottom line.
-
After this workshop, "I think we need more time" and "We need to move now" are no longer opposing positions. Your team gains a framework that contextualizes these instincts as complementary signals rather than competing agendas.
DECISION-MAKING EXPERT AND YOUR PRESENTER
Dr. Justin McNeil
Justin isn't someone who studied decision-making from a distance. He's a counselor, executive pastor, life coach, and the founder of McNeil Coaching. Over eighteen years, he's sat across from hundreds of individuals in the most consequential moments of their lives: career crossroads, relational fractures, identity crises, and the quiet paralysis that sets in when every option feels equally weighted.
That clinical and pastoral experience is what led him to develop The Decision Code. He noticed the same patterns showing up across clients, leaders, and teams. People weren't struggling because they lacked intelligence or courage. They were struggling because they didn't have a framework for understanding the signals driving their choices.
Justin holds a PhD in Pastoral Theology and carries certifications in trauma-informed counseling, brain spotting, and behavioral health specializations. His approach blends neuroscience with the kind of grounded, faith-informed perspective that helps people connect the practical with the purposeful.
He's the kind of presenter who makes the room feel like you're learning something profound without ever feeling like you're sitting through a lecture. Smart, direct, and genuinely funny when the moment calls for it.
